CLUB's OBJECTIVE

Western Gymkhana Club is a community effort to build a stronger, vibrant, healthier and integrated community in Western Suburbs of Melbourne. WGC, a Not-for-Profit club, aims to bring to its member’s regular social, recreational, cultural, networking and professional development opportunities. Western Gymkhana Club aims to bring to its member’s regular recreational, cultural, activities. It is a community effort to build a stronger, vibrant, healthier and integrated community.

WGC COMMUNITY

Western Gymkhana Club is community club with membership opportunity open to families in Melbourne. This is a not for profit club and relies heavily on the volunteer work of club members. Most of the members are professionals in various fields. Membership is open to anyone who meets the membership criteria and follows the values and behavior statement of the club. This is an inclusive club which is very proud of its Aussie-Indian heritage. The club has a range of members, ranging from new born to parents of WGC members. Most of our members are in 35-45 age group, with young kids.


LEADERSHIP TEAM
Our leadership team consists of the elected team members who volunteer for the smooth running of the club. The executive team of President, Secretary and Treasurer is well supported by the club volunteers in the General Committee.

Sudhir

Sudhir Juneja

President & Founder

Sudhir Juneja has been living in western suburbs of Melbourne for more than 21 years. He strongly believes in giving back to the community and is an active community worker and passionately supports the local community. 
Sudhir with other co-founders started Western Gymkhana Club in 2012.
By profession, Sudhir is a business and marketing consultant who works with the local small business community. Sudhir is also the co-founder of Point Cook Business Association.

Umanga

Umanga Oberoi

Public Officer

Umanga Oberoi is a migration professional. She lives in the western suburbs and is an active member of Western Gymkhana Club. Umanga is passionate about supporting and promoting small businesses, she loves supporting women owned and run businesses. Umanga cherishes giving back to community as much as possible.

Ischa

Ischa Agrawal

Treasurer

Ischa is a Payroll professional and a community enthusiast. She is associated with a few other local community groups. Ischa is committed to family connections and enriching our club's vibrant activities and events.
